Incredibly Sad Songs.

I'd love to be able to contribute but I'm drunk, in my front garden listening to John Prine, only spoilt by the ridiculous aeroplane exercise, but **** them. When did they ever act as a form of defence.

After the death of my dad and not speaking to him for 32 years after he left, then his friend messaging me on SM and.me thinking it was a scam. The day I got in touch and replied, was the day after he died.
The living years

This is a hard listen aftery mum was terminally ill and passed away

We will

Sorry for the losses mate - life seems so unfair at times.
GOS is a superb lyricist and delivers his songs just perfectly.

Linkin Park – One More Light

Michael Andrews & Gary Jules – Mad World

R.E.M. – Überlin

Smashing Pumpkins – The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning

Stereophonics – Maybe Tomorrow

Coldplay – Yellow

Elbow – The Night Will Always Win

Benjamin Francis Leftwich – Butterfly Culture

Gorillaz - On Melancholy Hill

Rise Against – Hero of War

Al Green – How Can You Mend a Broken Heart

One of my favourite songs ever. It was a favourite of my dear old dad too. I didn’t realise until I was about 17 what the song was about, but it remains a classic and best sung by Sir Tom.
