Johnson needs to pass on any support for his own people to the next PM sometime in September.
You fcuking couldn’t make it up (!)

He’s happy to offer help to Ukraine and yet won’t talk about help for us lot.
The press should be all over this ! Asking questions as to why support for Ukraine announced yet can’t do the same for the Uk people !
What an absolute disgrace.

Following the yanks and the French. Who are also struggling like us.
Outrageous how they are getting away with giving away OUR money when WE are struggling.
Sorry, but the sympathy for Ukraine is going to run out very quickly as these next few months go on.

From the BBC website:

"Outgoing UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said households "have to endure the cost-of-living crisis" to counter Russian aggression during a visit to Ukraine."

and

"He was presented with the Order of Liberty - Ukraine's highest award that can be given to foreign nationals."

At the expense of our own people?

How many British families living in homes with no lights, heat, food and water will it take before we've given enough financial help to another country?
Helping Ukraine does not mean that we can't help our own at the same time. We can do more than one thing at a time.

It is absolutely important to help Ukraine, it isn't an excuse not to bother helping people in the UK. But of course in the case of Johnson and the Tory Party addressing the abhorrent profits being raked in by power companies might mean taking money out of chums pockets in dividends not paid or party donations and consultancies not given.

The UK has given more to Ukraine than Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Norway and Sweden combined.
I think its time we let other countries do more.

I think those in the Ukraine have a uniquely privileged insight into those that have helped them. Boris may be a reprehensible fool, but in this he has provided invaluable support and leadership.

The british people on the other hand have a far better understanding of Johnson's character and are thus in a better position to judge his motives. As said earlier, support for Ukraine and the british public should be happening in tandem.
