Watched it last night. It felt really uncomfortable for me.
In my opinion Hancock is responsible for thousands of deaths when he decided to send untested patients from hospitals back to care homes, he's responsible for billions of £ wasted during the pandemic and also responsible, along with Johnson, for a dreadful English response to the pandemic. As such I was kind of hoping that he would get it with both barrels in there...
BUT
He looks so dim and gullible, like a scrawny Mr Bean, and clearly doesn't realise what people actually think of him. None of his camp mates seem happy he's there or even like him. I think personally it will be a horrible experience for him mentally and I feel uncomfortable that ITV are showing all of this on TV. If I was isolated in a similar environment like that I would have a breakdown for sure.
Now that might be what he deserves - he might just deserve to have a breakdown, be made to do every challenge, be berated by his camp mates - but it just doesn't sit right with me sending him for his punishment on national TV. I think jail would be more appropriate.
Please can someone tell me I am wrong for feeling uneasy that he may well get destroyed in there!!
