Anyone that thinks that homophobia isn't still a massive problem in all walks of life (especially sports) does not pay enough attention.

Those comments are so depressing.

We are in a world where you can still legally be killed for same sex relationships. It may makes the insidious comments like this seem small, but shows how far we still have to go as humans.

The club should still publicly address something like that though and they should be banned. There needs to be consequences to actions like that. If they were racist comments they’d be banned and reported to the police, should be the same for homophobic comments too.

Dreadful, though I suspect a lot of the comments are from fans of other clubs. Even where the comment is from somebody apparently in Sheffield, they might not support United.
