There have been so many great Scottish players, the current crop is poor by comparison. Jinky Johnstone, Willie Johnston, Joe Jordan, Alan Hansen, Graeme Souness, Archie Gemmill, Tam Forsyth, Danny McGrain, Asa Hartford, where are you now?
 
Really like the look of John McGinn. Reckon he'd have a placed in the England squad. Might not necessarily be a starter though.
 
it would have to be some early 90s players as we had some right duck eggs starting back then, Gary McAllister or stuart mccall over david batty and carlton palmer, Andy Goram over Chris Woods, Ally McCoist over Alan Smith
 
After last night you couldn't seriously pick more than 3 Englishmen in a UK team. Kane, Sterling, Mount, Foden and Rice were really bad.
 
Last 30 years would have to be Gary McAllister he was class and his peak came just before Gerrard and Lampard.
