If Rotherham go 3 nil up

Rotherham had a very good result last night and will come here with confidence
🤔
We’re 9 games in and normally after 10 games you can get a feel for where we are heading 🤔🤷‍♂️

Ok,the window just closed and we can argue that we have had disruption with the team and tav leaving and settling everyone down
That’s a positive spin

A practical spin though is wilder needs a win on Saturday for green shoots to be the order of the day and not something far more worrying and negative brewing because this can go one of two ways right now and Saturday seems very pivotal given it’s the 10 games milestone.

I personally think wilder isn’t upto it as the burnley thing left players doubting wilder and that’s having a longer term impact on our togetherness and team spirit which is massive and counts for so much and I can’t see it

lose badly on Saturday and maybe you can say he’s lost the dressing room. There’s certainly a lot of strange things that have transpired over the summer. Anyone think that Payero was shipped out because he didn’t want to play for Wilder? Seems plausible.

Then there’s the issue individual performances such as Jones and Crooks who are definitely under performing.

Then there’s the issue with Djksteel who has mysteriously been benched and perhaps the rest of the team not looking like they’re not interested in playing. You can’t say that any of this team is (currently) giving 100 percent for the cause with the exception of maybe Giles.

I think this is a bit unfair. Footballers are humans beings and it's natural when you know (collectively) you've messed up and are going to get pelters from thousands of people that your confidence/performance is affected. I think there is an issue with the defensive shape/set up and this is spreading anxiety through the team. You build from the back. He really needs to settle on a defence and like others have said, that should probably include Dijksteel as he works well with Jones going forward and has pace, though he's not been without fault either. Perhaps this Luongo fella needs to sit in there alongside Howson. We look vulnerable whenever the opposition goes near our box and you worry Rotherham, who seem to throw crosses in a lot, will pick us off.
We absolutely CANNOT concede first on Saturday. They travel as a team on the up with absolutely no pressure. We can't let them get their tails up.

Rotherham go 3 up the atmosphere will be very toxic, Gibson would need to act, it would be obvious Wilder had lost the dressing room, however a positive reaction may be the catalyst to better things.
Positive head on today

If we lose badly on Saturday, I honestly think it might be last chance saloon, two games to save your job time.

Which sounds mad. But three things that get you fired are bad results against poor teams at home; sitting in the bottom three is a huge magnifier of pressure for a chairman; and fans turning.

If we’re 3-0 down at half time against Rotherham then we could see all three.

Dijksteel was called out by Wilder earlier in the season for QPRs first goal (not tackling/taking one for the team) and he was at fault for Stokes equaliser where he switched off and completely lost the gadge who then had a simple chance to score.

So he was put on the naughty step, pretty clearly being blamed for his errors.

But he's come back and done extremely well. First choice RCB for me, links well with Crooks and Jones and has pace to cover/recover his mistakes.
