I think as the mods can control who joins it instills a bit more responsibility. On the old board the mods did not have control over who posted given that you could join and after banning continue to join under another email address via any Fansonline network Club.

Ir maybe Norfolk the others haven't jumped until they are pushed. Not that I have a problem with either board.

Sadly you also get a lot of stuff you do not want to know. Sorting the wheat from the chaff is also part of the fun.
