....in his coaching setup, Gibson must give him a role in the club elsewhere surely.

He's a fantastic man and we need people like that around the club. He'd be great with the youngsters bringing them through.!

There's no way Leo gets fired. His role will change, he could choose to walk, but I know the club higher ups have to much respect for him to be let go.

I don’t think being respected is enough to keep you in gainful employment, it’s a results industry and if the new man at the top doesn’t want some stranger he doesn’t know thrust upon him then he’s gonna go, regardless of how respected Leo might be, it’s obsurd to think that’s enough to keep someone at the club.

I think we all love Leo. I'm absolutely made up for him that's he's managed to get 2 wins. A 3rd today would be an amazing 'send off' if it genuinely was his last day.

That said he can't be 'forced' onto a new gaffer. So if its his last day then hopefully the players make it a good one.

Although I wouldn't rule out some kind of role at the club. I'm not even talking about on the coaching staff. I think Gibson really likes him. We all know his horrific back story. I would like us to keep him around.

The most important thing is not starting like the Blackburn and Cardiff games. I hope the players get out of the blocks for him 👍

Disagree showing respect and loyalty and respect to people is very important to me and that's the values I want my club to show

I don’t think you understand me, respect and loyalty are great values everyone should have, keeping them in a coaching role just because of it, is not something we should be doing. Best man for the job, gets the job, how much you like or respect them isn’t really a consideration.
Gibson just employing everyone he respects is not going to make us a winning team on the pitch

Lovely guy but he has been involved in some way or another with the last three or four managers and Imhao if he is still at the club he should be nowhere near the first team coaching/management set up. Complete change is required.

Let's have some respect for Leo in this, he's an ex-International footballer who has coached at clubs such as Real Madrid, Valencia, Stuttgart, Fluminense, and at International level with Brazil, France and Uruguay, and we're saying give him a role at the club as some sort of factotum, I know it's meant well but his CV deserves more than a general cheerleader, cone distribution, morale booster job, he's a first team coach/assistant manager and if Carrick hasn't got a role for him we should be pushing hard to find him a job elsewhere doing the role his pedigree, experience and qualifications deserve.

Leo is s legend, it's about time football and our club is more about people than money.
Old fashioned view yes but it's about time we looked after people, Leo is s tremendous example of coming through some of life's horrors, let's support him not hinder him.
If Gibson wants to employ him then good on him.
C'mon Leo

A win today and his stock goes up massively. He’s had offers from Brazil & USA already..
Surely there’ll be another championship side willing to take a punt on him!?!?

Disagree. Should have a job for life, or as long as he wants it and he’s happy here.

Football clubs are about more than results. They have a soul, which is why we love them.

And I love that some random GK coach from Uruguay, through circumstances very happy and utterly tragic, has become the living embodiment of the soul of the Boro.

It’s a special and unusual thing, we should celebrate it. Leo Percovich should never be forced out of our club.
