I voted for Boris Johnson in 2019. I believed his promises. I wish I didn't as he is just as bad, if not worse, than the rest of them.

He has lied and broken his Manifesto promises. Come next General Election, I won't be voting for him or the Tories again.

I never believed that HS2 was a good thing - but if it was going to be built, I always said it should be from the North downwards because we knew this would probably happen

Cancelling the Northern part, is like the Lib Dems and University Fees (I know that was a Tory Policy as well - but the Lib Dems took the blame)

Don't even get me started on the Owen Paterson stuff

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are witnessing how to lose an 80 seat majority

I can't say any more on Politics, due to mine and Rob's gentleman agreement

I went off Labour with Diane Abbott, etal, and their hypocritical shenanigans and double standards. I voted Liberal. This lot have dragged double standards to new depths with lies and sleaze. The greed of many is beyond contempt and they seem to be able to get away with it? Maybe time is running out now for these 'honourable' people? We need honesty and openness and a new order in Westminster.

I find it hard to forgive anybody in the North East who voted Tory at the last election. In time I may mellow but for now you put me and my family in this horrible nightmare and ignored everything in front of you.

as if eh?

There should never be a need to apologise for exercising your rights at the ballot box. Id be more inclined to want an apology from those that didn't vote.
You'd be wrong then. I voted for Labour under Corbyn but I won't be voting for Starmer's Labour. I won't be voting for The Tories either of course because I'd rather cut my own bollox off then do that. No point in voting for a Labour Party that is desperately trying to become the Tory Party. I need a genuine alternative that I can believe in and that certainly isn't Starmer.

Of course you should, you think those voting for the nazis in 1930s Germany were less to blame than those abstaining?

Thanks for blaming me for an 80 seat majority

Don't worry Drummer. I voted Brexit as a joke and look what happened there...
We all make mistakes

Sure I read this exact post on another thread 🤔

Anyway I almost voted for thatcher when she first stood, fortunately I didn’t and later campaigned against her. I’d never say anything in her favour but at least she believed in the evil she was peddling, this lot don’t even have that ‘integrity’

Tbf the other side wanted to give everyone 4 bank holidays and plant a bunch of trees.

UnElEcTaBlE 🤪🤪🤪
Did you even read the manifesto? It had LOTS of positive policies aimed at helping the work I g and middle class.

Wether it was all achievable is another debate but the intent was there. What you've done is what everyone else did, believe the lie you're fed by the Tory press.

Nazis never won a majority, they where a minority party when Hitler was given the chancellorship. Most Germans rejected the Nazis, what happened after is there for all to see but the electorate never put him in power, their politicians did.
