I will never show a vaccine pass to go in pub , football stadium or any other business that asks for one

It doesn't really, he's just 'virtue signalling'
I am not sure he is BM. My reasoning is slightly different to Funkies in as much as I am less concerned about medical history (I have a card which says I am vaccinated) and more concerned with why the government would make a decision like this. I am absolutely certain it has nothing to do with keeping us safe, that has never been a priority of Johnson's.

The main reason I can see this going ahead is to keep covid in the forefront of peoples minds so they can extend emergency legislation without too much fuss. The covid bill allows the government to enter into procurement without a tender process.

If we are all focussing on trying to end the pandemic, even if it is effectively over, relative to other diseases, we won't object to Johnson extending the covid bill beyond June.

Interestingly enough, the language in the covid bill doesn't require a vote in parliament, but I am sure Johnson would like to appear to be doing the right thing.

What goes around comes around...but let's draw a line under it....
If we both throw some good out into the world it will come back to us 👍
Good idea. You attack me then "draw a line" under it before I can respond. It's kind of like Johnson when he considered the Cummings law breaking affair closed.

I thinkbthe answer fir pubs etc is vaccine only nights and nights where anyone can enter, gives people the choice
They used to do that kind of thing on a Tuesday night in Yarm . It was a saturation of oestrogen in the air as it was also known as Grab a Granny night . 💋👵💅

You've done plenty of 'attacking' on the Brexit thread...
Unprovoked random messages like you did? Or in response to a long and frustrating thread of people deflecting form the issues that are affecting us? You need to learn the difference. I will always give brexiters a chance to explain themselves. It's only when they don't I, understandably, question why

You're obsessed with Brexit man...take a break, seriously 👍

I can't imagine there being much oestrogen on a grab a granny night unless they are all on HRT, of course.

Nail on the head. However I have no problem with a passport scheme As long as a free negative test is sufficient to allow access.

Dead in the water. Don't even think Johnson is stupid enough to try and get it voted through parliament now.
lets be honest though Randy, you are not impartial in this, I understand why you don't want it, it's your livelihood.

If you have the option of no vaccine passport but vastly reduced capacity, say 25% OR full capacity with vaccine passport which would you choose?

Nothing to do with the business I'm in. We are already having to implement track and trace again but this time for everybody. Only hospitality though which is odd, not hairdressers, supermarkets, gyms etc.

Which option would I choose? Neither. Open as usual. Those who want to shield or stay home because they don't believe it's safe wouldn't be visiting places with other people anyways. Plus the majority of the vunerable have been vaccinated now.

Next question.

It shouldn't just be hospitality to be honest.

That's a smoke and mirrors answer because it's not possible to open as usual right now and you and I both know that.

again, we both know it's more complicated than that, particularly around the subject of mutations. A novel virus has ample scope for mutations. The protection length of the vaccines are also unknown. The understanding of the disease itself is in its infancy. Good to see you wanting a 2 tier system that penalises the ill and disabled, that sounds very Tory. :p

Isn't two tier at all. It's a choice based system that doesn't require government to hold people's hands as they navigate through life.

Your smoke and mirrors answer is interesting, are you not aware of the court case brought against government by Lord and Osmond. 😉Lest we forget the only reason hospitality now closed is because Whitty and Vallance threw a report from a Korean nightclub with no social distancing or hand sanitising measures in place as their 'proof' to shut it down. 😏

It's not a choice if you have any health issues at all. You are being shunted to the side of society, very 'master race'.

I am aware of the court case, it'll fail. You can bring all sorts in front of courts, doesn't mean it will win and unless it wins then it is an irrelevance and not a reason for you to avoid the question I posed.

I didn't avoid it. I gave a different answer, one you didn't like. That's not my problem that's yours chick. 😀

More and more people are waking up to the depressing fact they are still been taken for mugs by a government that doesn't care either way.
No apocalypse after the schools went back.
No apocalypse after people were allowed to meet each other outdoors.

New variant talk has stopped all of a sudden too. How strange.
