I think Britt will start tonight

I hope not. Although it may a big ask for Fletcher to play 3 games in a short space of time. I’d probably play Fletcher for 60 or 65 minutes if he’s got it in the tank and then bring one of the other 2 puddings on.

I'm fully expecting him to start, given the fixture build up, hopefully being dropped for a guy who'd been injured for 5 months puts a rocket up his ****.

He's playing for his next contract, wherever that is, so he's surely got to be motivated.

Think the fact that Fletcher wasnt taken off early on Saturday probably shows we didnt plan to play him tonight. 3 games in a week after so long out would be a big risk

Tough one for Warnock tonight, we need to win. We need to manage players energy levels and we can’t tinker to much as we look like we have found a winning formula. Me personally if we could get away with it I would play the same team but I don’t think it’s as simple as that tonight.

Does look that way. Suppose if you had to pick a game for him to play out of tonight and Saturday against Cardiff it would be Cardiff.

I wish Akpom had showed us there is something there as he could play tonight as he’s actually contracted to us next season but he fills me with no hope. If he plays I would love him to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and give us fans something to shout about as so far he’s been poor. Really poor.

Average I would say. There have been games Chuba has started and we have won and he has played well. But he hasn’t done enough to make himself an easy first choice over Britt.

I'm pretty confident Fletcher isn't starting. I have no problem with this for 5 months out. You have to trust the medical staffs advice. They know more than the average FMTTM poster😉

The gaffer said he's maybe more 'important' for the Cardiff game due to physicality. 5 starts on the bounce after 5 months out is pushing it. Then again he also said maybe give him an hour tonight.

I think Britt or Akpom is a toss of the coin. I tend to go for Akpom knowing he's here more longterm.

The funny thing is I've watched two or 3 games where Britt had lead the line brilliantly. Forest and Brum away spring to mind.....a right handful.

We probably have 1 or two than will need managing. It's not a case of them being 'dropped' despite playing well. Surely that's pretty obvious?

There were a couple of home games I thought he played ok but since then he’s been terrible. I think he’s a better starter than a sub though. When he comes on as sub nothing happens for him. Not much in it either way.

Wycombe away was good (obviously Wycombe are slightly lower standard)
