Rob edwards has already been chosen but wait a while and tell the fans we’ve interviewed many candidates but he was the best by far.
If he does do that he is making his biggest mistake yet because this is the most important and dangerous moment in our time since 1986.

This appointment is crucial and needs experience at this level and definitely not a novice because these players will run rings around a relative novice

I do hope and pray you're wrong. But. Your statement has an awful ring of truth there.
 
But what’s the evidence for Edwards being linked? Short odds at the start, but now Carrick has those. To me it just says no decision has been made and I don’t think the club even have a clue whose getting it yet.

I think it’s carrick too much noise and a candidate of his calibre I’d doubt we’d mess him about.

Carrick is the same end scenario as edwards.
Both massive gambles with our club and probably because Gibson has never known what qualities are required for a manager….

Hardly carrick and back room staff have been at the top of the sport coaching elite players and some of the best in the world.

Edwards manager FGR and Watford for a month.
 
Surely if it was Edwards he would have been appointed last week, unless the adverse reactions led to Gibson getting cold feet. Seems like we are in limbo now and need someone to get the players organised and playing to their strengths….Pulis may be tempted out of retirement by his best mate Steve, even though it will be ‘haaard work’!

That’s what I think as well. Re edwards.
 
I suspect whether it is Edwards or Carrick the long term strategy since Scott arrived has been to get a promising head coach rather than an experienced manager with final say in all matters. I think this goes back as far as the summer or even further. Wilder was a promotion shot to nothing last season but the club were never going to give him the funds or decisive say on transfers.
 
If it is Edwards, what's the fans reaction going to be? Personally, I will be completely underwhelmed.

Already a malaise around the club, fans are (getting) p*ssed off and if social media is representative.......unless the new manager hits the ground running and has the "new manager bounce" the place WILL become toxic very, very quickly.

I know we say this every time......but this appointment is critical. On the same level as Karanka. And if it is not right.......😬😬

The joys of social media , people make stories up and answer their own question. Their don’t like the answers ( which they’ve made up) and have a hissy fit as if it’s real .
