I have truly mixed feelings over derby...

Regardless of whether you like him or not, Mike Ashley is a brilliant businessman. His morals and ethics are one thing, but at running a business, especially turning around those that are in trouble, he knows what he is doing.

On running a football club though, I think he gets a kick out of winding fans up, and Newcastle fans must be some of the easiest to wind up. Why else would you give Alan Pardew an 8 year contract, appoint and persist with Steve Bruce, or change the name of St James Park. He loves it!
I think he kept them partly as a shield to take the fans flack instead of himself and partly because they were cheap and steady. Will never win anything, but will not complain at a lack of funds

Yeah, you can't argue with his business record even if he is a bit odious

what's he suing her for?
He loaned her 10M to cover costs during the takeover on condition she did not criticise his tenure.

He claims that the condition has been violated and that Sports Direct have suffered a 'marketing loss' after signage was removed from the ground.

What a soft southerner he is. Of course any chance for another quick buck. That’s Mike Ashley for you.

Nah, Derby have no significance, more bothered about us in the here and now.

Normally I'd agree, but we've had weeks of being portrayed as the villains in Derby's story and our fans and owner have had death threats and abuse when Derby are in the wrong.

I want them down this season.

More than you want us up?

It’s all a distraction, which is what they want, let’s keep focus on the football and getting ourselves promoted.

Careful with comments on her looks there. She has a neurodegenerative disease that affects her.
Give over man. I wouldn't wish Huntingdon's on anybody, but that has nothing to do with her appearance. It has as much to do with her appearance as her being a former Prince Andrew partner.
She may run the risk of degeneration, but she is still in fettle fine enough to broker a £300m deal whilst literally being the face of that transaction.

It was off the cuff and I'm certainly not sorry.

More than you want us up?

They're 2 points behind us having played a game more than us, 2 games more than Stoke and 3 more games than Coventry and Luton.

They're only catching us if we mess up ourselves, and there are other teams that would be closer to doing so than Forest.
