I have no time for anti vaxers at all

I could care less about “bites” think those who know me know I don’t care about winning popularity contests I’m just raising an issue that on a forum like this anti vaxers and myth spreaders are a real concern.

Rob has said before that people that down play or deny the reality of the virus are harming others this is of that ilk.

Totally agree with this. This is extremely harmful and would like to see people being restricted or asked to take time out based on this as opposed to political beliefs.

These vaccines are a huge breakthrough, I hope that as many people as logistically possible get vaccinated.
We need to return to normal whatever that will be as soon as possible.
My daughter is a frontline NHS worker, she gets her vaccinations before Christmas.
She's had covid and has antibodies but is keen to be vaccinated.
All the hospital staff are.

Listen I’ve no issue with anyone not taking the vaccine that’s their right and I’d never argue otherwise but I have a real issue when they try to dissuade others from doing so.

Anti vaxers are dangerous and they have, are and will cost lives.
I get that but surely you have to accept that there will always be people who make up lies on the internet, its just not pragmatic to expect everyone in the world to think the same thing or never make up a daft rumour.

I'm pretty sure it was a tongue-in-cheek pun on your "cod science" comment mate, not an attack 👍

I totally want to believe this and my only concern is that the uk are the only country to have approved it and I don’t trust this Tory government with the car crash Brexit to definitely come (even if we get a deal of some sort) with chaos in Kent etc...i wouldn’t put it past the Tories to push an early vaccine release to divert attention from the chaos due to be imposed on the uk public

As always people will make up their own minds as should be the case. Spreading disinformation in any form can be damaging, but it is interesting that a government that won an election on lies and disinformation want to set up a panel to fight disinformation.

As for the Pfizer vaccine, I would have liked to have seen indemnity stay with Pfizer, and that does concern me a bit. However by the time I am front of the queue more will be known about the possible dangers so most of us don't have to make up our minds just yet.
