I fancy us at Cardiff

I’ll admit I was a little apprehensive before the Bristol game and was resigned to a point at best but I really fancy us tomorrow.

Wether it’s the Warnock factor (going back up his old club) or the ever gelling side with added Roberts, but I do think we could turn em over.

Not sure about that. I think they have the best squad in the league and I look at it with envy. They comprehensively outplayed us last season, probably the worst game we’ve had under Warnock.

I think we have to be careful to not get too carried away.

It was a brilliant result midweek but our goal came about following a mistake from their defender. I think if that hadn't have happened it would have almost certainly finished 0-0 (which would have still been a good result).

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game but I'll say now I'll be happy if we come away with a point.

They do have some squad. I watched a bit of them the other night and they had some bench and strong starting 11.

I noticed Warnock had a bit of a tongue in cheek pop in his presser saying 'they've changed style since he left' (he said the same last season with a similar smile). He said 9 of the starting 11 midweek were his team.

They are still very direct and have a real threat from setplays with Morrison and Moore. Also Wilson will be a threat with anything from 30yards.

I'd take a draw to keep the feel good vibe going. 5 points from those 3 games would be a great return. That said gotta be beating Coventry on Tuesday👍

I don't see a side where I think we will get beat. I think Watford will be the one to catch once they start playing the 3-5 stars who ain't featured.

Tough game, but we're as solid and defensively organised as we have been since AK, even better than Pulis I think,

Plus Cardiff have had a decent, but not spectacular start to the season, so we've nothing to be fearful of and it will be interesting to see how well we do.

5 at the back i think your in with a shout of nicking any result in this league. Warnock understands we are depleted in forward areas and has opted for that approach. Cant fault him. UTB

I still think Cardiff will be more wary of us than we are of them.
I think it will be a very cagey game.

I’m just sad Aden Flint has moved on.
We would have been certs to win.

I reckon 0-0 or 1-1

that will do me, a good 7 days work.
I took us to beat Bristol City & feel confident we'll do OK tomorrow, as you say teams will be wary of us this season & treat us with more respect, our only issue is with the limited chances we get in tight games we have to punish teams

Why wouldn't you fancy us we have had a good start to the season. Betfair have the game priced 6/4 Cardiff 9/4 boro and 9/4 the draw. That's about right with a slightly too strong bias to the home team. It will be low scoring, as neither team is scoring nor conceding many. Cardiff 5 for 5 against, boro 5 for 4 against. 0-1,1-1 or 0-1.

Neil Harris was at the match on Tuesday, so no doubt will have been mulling over his options but yeah, a goal either way I think.

Interestingly Cardiff haven't won at home this season. We know how that can become a thing.

Some big calls for Warnock here - I wonder if he might throw a curve ball and start Wood up front?

Be happy if this game finished 0-0, though it wasn't as if we didn't have chances even Fry, who had a great game & not having a dig, had used his left foot when McNair put a quality free kick behind their defence, then he could have put us one up, another hard working professional display & could we dare dream

We are a completely different team to last season, some, if not most, of our players will feel 10 foot tall when NW has his dressing room team talk, plus we are playing as a unit this season

I would agree Erimus, team spirit, everyone doing their bit makes a difference that's why you get upsets in football. I may be wrong but I am, literally, betting on a low scoring game.
