Far too many Fanny’s moaning get a grip . Crying about transfers when there was over 50 days to go was one of the biggest joke so maybe some people should pipe down for a few weeks and pay the Mrs more attention

Recruitment should have been completed, or at least most of it, before a ball was kicked. I don’t buy into there’s plenty of time, or other teams are in the same boat. Pull your fingers out and get things done and give the manager a bloody chance ffs. He’s working with one hand tied behind his back at the moment - a bet he’s secretly fuming at the lack of activity. This is not what he was promised when he arrived i bet.
Has to be said - Wilder promised BIG things after the dismal surrender at Preston. Now he was arguably being assured by Scott, Bauser et al, that he would be provided with the signings that would transform us. At this point we've signed 7 and outed 15 with Tavernier being the big unreplaced loss. Of the 7 one is a reserve keeper, Smith is an emergency defender unlikely to figure much, Forss is an unknown quantity and tonight we learn that Hoppe is a project. Giles is an obvious bonus, the jury may be out on Steffen with his concentration and Lenihan seems to be a great acquisition.
