I’ve looked at the league table- first time for a while!

And how uplifting it is! Warnock has achieved wonders of that there is no doubt. OK, performances may not be spectacular but we are without doubt a different proposition to last season.

Dare we dream ? I think so - with caution. For all the stick Warnock has had over the years- more so from other club’s fans- what is undeniable is he knows this division inside out. And what is required to compete.

We now have hope out of despair, a belief instead of resignation, looking upwards rather than downwards.

Neil, thanks for this . You have instilled a positive “ can do” attitude into players who had previously had a negative attitude, realised in their minds you compete and you have a reasonable chance of winning games.

This philosophy is so refreshing, long may it continue.

Morning Nosmo-king, good post 👍

I was thinking the same yesterday after looking at the table, is seems forever since we were that high in the table

I can imagine there were a fair few IPs from the Boro region that logged onto the BBC championship table page for the first time in a while yesterday.

Neil is everything we thought Pulis would be... I genuinely believe we would be in the prem right now had we gone for Neil back then.

Agree 100% op. As it stands it feels like the right man at the wrong time from a promotion perspective. What would normally be a modest investment in the squad you could see paying massive dividends with him And his staff. Unfortunately Covid seems like it might prevent that. That said I am certain that the anxieties I suffered last season are definitely a thing of the past. I am going to enjoy this season.

You've changed your tune Nosmo from only a couple of weeks ago....

The epitamy of a fikle fan

Nothing wrong at all about being reactionary in a positive or negative way. Football is like that, your only as good as your last game. We all know that. Personally think it’s a fantastic OP

Nice try, Nobby- but wrong but hey what else is new? Hardly posted in the last couple of weeks but don’t let that get in the way.

Perhaps your limited and wrong views are more suitable to another Forum you post on where truth doesn’t often get posted.....

I loved the EFL interview when he said he got lots of stick from visiting fans..........and how he was missing it now :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Waste of time to try and hold meaningful dialogue with Nobby. In his world - nothing to be worried about. Anyone with the slightest semblance sees a continuation of poor form. No goals in the last 2 games whilst not a complete crisis is really more of the same from the last 2 seasons.

Without 4-5 new players coming in a season of strife and struggle ensues

There you go Nosmo.... Your opinion has completely changed in what ?...19 days

If that's not fickle I don't know what is :ROFLMAO:

Ah well done one post in what, 3 weeks ? You are a star. Players coming in? Most agreed . How many since that post? 2 at least, can’t be arsed to see when the keeper came in. Warnock wants 1 possibly 2. So stating getting 4 in seemed a reasonable view.

The performances vs Bournemouth and Barnsley I've found very positive. I wouldn't say spectacular, but we've been aggressive, purposeful and spent more time playing in our opponents' half that passing the ball back and forth amongst our defenders.

I though Barnsley were a great contrast yesterday; they passed the ball better than us and played prettier football. However, we created considerably more chances than them. They were the kind of possession-based team that is a blight on the game.

No point trying to back out of it....its there for all to see !

I said there was nothing to worry about after the Barnsley cup game (where we played a reserve side) and you dismissed my post with the rest of the doom and gloom merchants.

Now your crowing from the rooftops on our league position....it's embarrassing tbh

We look very solid, even when we change the team or have players out, it doesn’t make much difference.

Warnock has transformed the outlook of the club and the fans in just a few months at the wheel, it‘s really good to see him back after his COVID bout, that was a bit of a worry.

Crowing? What a jerk you are. Your failure in understanding pointing out a positive to then refer it as crowing? Get a grip

I guess if we lose the next game you'll be wanting Warnock out Nosmo...;)

PS I don't really post on COB , don't like the racist vibe tbh (y)

It's been a very decent start to the season when you look at in context;
  • No shame in losing away at Watford who will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season, and we deserved at least a point from that game.
  • Drawing with Bournemouth was a decent result as again they will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.
  • Any draw away from home is decent in my opinion so was happy enough with the result at QPR
  • First win of the season yesterday and plenty of positives to take out of the game.

I think 5 points from 12 is okay when you consider the opposition and the fact that our manager has been isolating for the previous 2 league matches.

It's not like Nosmoi to be positive about the Boro. Nice to see he's not hitting the disenchanted button for once.
