I’m absolutely gutted about losing Hayden Hackey

Don't see what would be wrong at all with Bournemouth. Play good football, good manager, a team that continuously signs and develops young players. Would be a great move for him.
Any Premier League move would be a good move for him.

I spent both of the last two windows convinced we would face a significant battle to stop him going to the Prem. In reality, apart from something of a mickey take by Forest in January, which I don’t really count, the best offer he got was from another championship club. Which he sensibly turned down. All of which is not to say I think we will keep him this time. A move is probably in both our interests at this point in his contract. But I think the evidence of the last two windows suggests we might be letting our bias colour it a little if we think there will be a queue of near top six clubs getting into a bidding war.

I can't stand Bournemouth club with a tiny fan base who traditionally until they got lucky with a rich benefactor were minnows. A Tin pot club really like a Southend or Peterborough

Totally agree. I can take or leave prem football. The season isn't over but even if it ends in failure it has been an enjoyable campaign and we go again. But losing Hackney will be really gutting. However that's the way it is.
There needs to be a reward at the end of, the think we’ve seen enough of the championship and so has our P/L

The first two yes but I could only see Morris signing for another Championship team. I don't think he has the physical or technical attributes for the PL.
Hackney would of course go and I’d hope for 30m

Morris, not sure how long left on cor tact but could see a 12m bid would be accepted

Malnda, might stay for a full season it would take 20m to sell.

Add on to that a possible 15m incoming if rogers moves from Villa and we could have over 70m
In transfer fees coming in and probably 40m or more to be spent

I'd very surprised if he goes for anywhere close to that with only a year of his contract left to go. It's more likely to be around the £15m mark imo.
I suppose the other question would be do we take slightly less and put on a sell on clause. What we don't want to do is sell him cheaply only for him to move on within a season or two for 50-60m with no sell on

Given we've ran his contract down, i think it's the only way to recoup some of what we might otherwise have made on him. This is another point to note with not being promoted, his resale value would/could be in the £40 million category had/if we go up.

I doubt it, he’s too hot property with too many clubs interested. He was touted at 20m a year ago to Ipswich with 1 year left. And he’ll have had a stand out champo season behind him.

I doubt he will stuff us either by agreeing a box down fee with a club behind our backs

Our only hope of getting anything north of £20 million is if there's a bidding war which i suppose isn't unfathomable given the year he's had.

Didn’t Ipswich offer 20m with 1 year left on his contract….after the year he’s had it’ll only go up

Morris has 2 years left

Hackney is light years our best player.
Replacing him with similar quality is impossible.

Malanda has similar vibes to VdB in people too quick to put a huge interest in and fee for him.
I think he’s a better player, but no world beater.

Morris won’t get a £12m bid. He’s not a PL quality player IMHO and Champo clubs wouldn’t stump that up for him.

With a strong HH fee and cut for Rogers it will at least provide a budget.
I’d move all 3 “strikers” on and if we get profit above current book value then great.

I hope all this is meaningless conjecture, we win our last 5 and HH captains us in the PL next season.
