That doesn't even matter.

If they'd been told that they had to start in Manchester or had asked for Manchester, the premise of then moving them to somewhere in London without school places is exactly the same.

If local councils had been allowed to replace sold-off council houses with new ones we wouldn't have to rely on private landlords.
If the government that you support didn't allow Russian and Saudi billionaires to buy up properties all over London to leave standing empty. there would be plenty more housing.

Did OP even read the article they linked? Nowhere in it does it suggest they are demanding to live in London. Their case is entirely around the provision of education.

So some kids who've had to settle in a new county after a brutal regime took control in their homeland (after the us and the US fled the country) now have to move to the other end of the country after settling in, all during a time where they have the opportunity to get some qualifications and make a positive life for themselves?
How many years exactly do they need to be just grateful for what they get given rather than receiving some empathy and being encouraged to be successful?

My mam and dad split up, we had to move house and my dad was jailed right in the middle of my GCSE's

Totally messed me up and it was only through luck I managed to go to college and then subsequently onto Uni.

I feel for these girls.
