Hungry kids robbed

I look at this and I’m still scratching my head - if you get hello fresh or whatever then you get similar in the dry goods package but you then have meat and drinks in the frozen section.

Im not defending it but us there any possibility the lady who posted this has got it wrong? Has anybody verified this with the company providing the food parcels?

I assume you mean Hello Fresh :)

There are multiple requests to Chartwell on Twitter, the company responded that the image was "unacceptable" but people are asking that they confirm what should be provided in their standard "hamper". No response from their Twitter account since.

I voted Tory and I can also confirm that this image if true is sickening. I hope we hear more about this and it is out right ASAP. What Struck me amongst the obvious is that there is. I meant to be seen. What’s the protein? Cheese slices?
FatCat user name and voted tory......... heh

Just reading so Chartwells have denied that the package shown matches the specification of any of their boxes. More to come on this one - hopefully someone is held to account on this one!

They should have it at their fingertips - cover up incoming I expect!

Seen a few people commenting on how can they afford phones with cameras if they can't afford to feed their kids

Too many people are lulled into thinking that these programmes on Channel 5 about poverty are the norm, and that everyone who benefits (or in this case, doesn't benefit) from these schemes fit into the same characteristics. Knocks me sick.
That’s very true but what these people fail to realize they need smartphones to be able to interact with the DSS or whatever it is called these days as they have to do everything online or so I’m told.
Never being in a situation where I have had to claim I wouldn’t know but I did used to repair smartphones & I did have a fair few panicking it couldn’t be repaired & they wouldn’t be able to retrieve the details they need to claim benefits.
I know they could just go & ask for them again but apparently it doesn’t happen overnight. Some of them were genuinely scared they wouldn’t get any money to eat or pay rent if they had to.

Interesting from the man residing in a tax haven hmmm.
lack of work in my own neighbourhood in the last two years. not sure who to blame for that though....... i still pay my national insurance in the UK , don't panic, the NHS still get my contributions. How's your blue passport and your extra fish? ;)

Yet still have not provided what their "specifications" consist of.

Surely this should be readily available data that could be shared instantly?

well they went out and bought it so you would think there would be a receipt or two kicking about. unless that would expose them as yet another tory, back handed benefactor which has been facilitated by the likes of FatCat and his ilk.....

Exactly, not to forget that it's now common place for Schools to reach out to parents via text, updates to their website etc.
