Huge swell of support for Neil Warnock!

Btw sadly I think you might be right as well as peltier is coming back we all know it so who is on Warnock radar

How many wins in 11 would it take for you to be a fan of Warnock?
I don't doubt that were he to get us into the playoffs I would sing his praises. But I cannot warm to the guy. I can see why some do and I wish him no ill, he seems a decent human being in most respects. But a "fan"...

...very very unlikely.

“Passion stokes a conflict based on ideals and principles. But righteousness evokes resistance - the light is casting a shadow. Being assertive means living your truth without denying others their freedom. This is a good time to practice tolerance. Look at the mirror before pointing the finger. Inclusiveness trumps othering.”

You don't have to be a 'fan' of Warnock to defend him. I just don't get the sudden witch hunt and over-analysis of every sentence he utters as some kind of slight or criticism of a player. People are reading far too much into a manager who likes to ramble and perhaps gives too much away at his press conferences. I personally enjoy them and am don't consider myself naive. I think maybe people got over-excited (as usual) by the new signings and suddenly in their head we should be nailed-on play-off contenders. We were never that. We're a mid-table team with aspirations for the play-offs. If we have luck with injuries that might still happen, but expecting it is always going to leave you disappointed.

What is it about Warnocks character or personality or other feature that you cannot "warm to"? I dont really get this neediness to have a love in with managers, as long as they provide results and ideally performances to complement them I could really care less about his manner or choice of words. Football fans are like soooooo sensitive these (sky era) days - possibly all the estrogen in the water

Tend to agree, if he gets the players firing and winning, if I don't 'love' him, it matters not a jot. I want someone who gets the team playing together and winning, and right now, he is doing that.

The team is still less than the sum of its parts. We've beaten two really poor teams which means very little to me. If he can show vast improvement over the next 10 games i might be inclined to revisit my opinion.

I mean we've seen improvement in terms of players and league position since Warnock arrived..

2019–20 - Saved us from relegation, completely turned the team around and saw us finish 17th

2020–21 - Huge improvements to Fry, McNair, Tavernier etc an unexpected and respectable 10th place finish

2019–20 - TWELVE new players, countless injures to key players, currently sitting in 6th place.

Tavernier & McNair regularly feature in championship teams of the week. Matty Crookes has been a revelation as has Sol Bamba.

Far too many folks wanting to grab attention on social media by pouring pish over the manager and out team with totally unqualified opinions.

oneboro is like a breeding ground for daft little meff trolls, we had Boro Fan TV trying to be the next Arsenal Fan TV slagging off the manager, the team etc just to gain likes and shares.. and i'm getting the same sort of vibes from 'the boro breakdown podcast' - as much as folks like to criticize the team, managers etc when they are not performing I seriously think that we need to take a look at our online fanbase.
