Howson

I've got to agree with the above, it's definitely you. But that's what's great, it's all subjective. If you watch Howson though, he reads the game so well he rarely needs to make a tackle, he's always available for the ball, he probably makes more passes than anyone else in the team and he's the one who carries us forward when we start to stall.

I've seen a lot written about Sander Berge on Sunday but apart from the first few minutes, Howson was the best midfielder on the pitch. Berge particularly didn't like it when Howson clattered him in the second half.

We're a better team with Howson than without
Second most passes of any Boro player last night - surprisingly no tackles, but as you say when you read the game so well you just need to be in the right place at the right time

When was the last time he scored a hat-trick for us? Or ran the length of the pitch leaving half the opposition in his wake? Or made a sliding tackle from the half way line to stop their striker tapping the ball home? Or scored with a header from one of his own supposedly top class set pieces?
All he does is constantly make himself available as an alternative option for a pass, shield the ball and retain possession, read the game, and bloody pass it on for others to create goal-scoring opportunities.
Absolutely stealing a living!
