Howson signs 1 year extension, other 4 extend till end of season

Great move and pleased it's only a year and not the usual 2-3 years awarded in the past.
Credit to Howson for signing when we are still in a relegation battle.
This weekend gets even better.
 
Hopefully a few more extensions coming in the next few days.

I'd like Marvin Johnson to stay, and the rest to extend till the end of the season.
In two minds about Friend.
 
That reads like the option was his rather than the club's.

Normally it's the club that has the option to extend?

F***ing buzzing. Love Howson! Bet he’s delighted he’s gonna be seen as a midfielder again too.
 
Presumably that means he wont be taking a pay cut, but given the departures of Rudy and Ayala, it will help bolster morale. Well done everyone involved. Keeping Howson will send a signal of our intentions. He would not have signed if he thought we would go down. What a great week it has been since Swansea.

I have been a big critic of Mr Gibson, but feel he is due a thank you for implementing change in a positive way. Long may it continue. The fans and the club are back in sync it seems
 
The timing is interesting, although could be a coincidence of course.

But does feel like the Warnock appointment has made his mind up for him.
 
What a difference eh

this time last week we were gutted looked doom and knew all our key players would go, as it was amateur hour in our coaching dept.

now we have that precious win look to have a stable man agent TEAM in place and we’ve just secured one of the key players in the side.

Totally agree. What a week it’s been! Some really great news. Feels like we are on a upwards trajectory finally
 
I'm beginning to dream again...
Loads of frees available in summer, Warnock with a bit of a budget and free reign could get some absolute steals with his knowledge.

Just get us to safety get Neil to stay (I'm pretty sure it's certain if we stay up anyway) and we could absolutely be up there next season. 😍
