Backlash coming

But

maybe we will be more offensive at home especially , we need Roberts to step up with a regular run in the team and Watmore staying fit and starting more games.

Roberts stepping up and Watmore staying fit isn't dependant on Howson being out of the side.

As badonde says it’s safe to say were gonna glide along mid table for the season . I’d have taken that if it was offered 12 months ago . NW can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear for a season with our squad depth . 46 games find you out 🤔

ps sod the cups off as well

Yeah that kind of seals our mid tableness. It's a shame really we could've hung on the coat tails of sixth spot, but without Howson I think we're done

Not sure how losing one of your best players is a positive. Think Morsey will just slot in but who else do you bring in. Wing too slow. Maybe Tav playing there. Not a lot of choices.

Morsy will struggle in that role. He's been totally of the pace since he's fine back, both in speed and positioning. Tav would be a better choice.

Yeah mate massive positive. Our most consistent more player is gonna miss a shed load of games at a vital period where we need wins. Fantastic news I think 🤔

Nowhere near a positive with our tiny squad.
Obvious we are just trading water until 2021/22.
Lets get Brexit, Covid and Assombolonga out of the way and come out fighting!!!!
Absolutely.

Neil Warnock pointed out that Stoke and Preston [as examples] have 10 [ten] players in their squad more than the Boro!
When we look at the options - we have young players being asked to do a job which you would reasonably expect more experienced [men] players to perform week-in, week-out.

There is no option for Neil but for players to make mistakes [on the job] - which is a huge risk: younger players may be more susceptible to inconsistency and confidence issues - taking a heavy defeat in your stride requires experience and maturity.

We are left with kids - who may be enthusiastic - but lack experience.

I wouldnt want to be in Neils shoes - but now is the time for the lads to try to step up to the plate.(y)

How do Preston have 10 more than us? Stoke, Norwich etc I could understand
Possibly players on smaller salaries - club hasnt spent millions like the Boro and appear to have a a stable financial model.
Stoke have a bigger squad - with experienced players.
Its the way it is.
