How we've probably gotten outta this is mad

The sad fact is that woody was absolutely woeful and tactically inept but we thought he was the next guardiola.

this is woodys team and our demise is all down to him and Robbie why are you here Keane.

Robbie Keane who the media have said will make an excellent manager, we'll wait & see, I will guess not

A caller on the radio mentioned something I said last week, we've never got over Monks awful managerial reign, our worst ever manager for me, as he spent all the money on playets who have hardly done anything of note

As bad as he was, and he was, he isn’t the full story, you have to ask who did due diligence on vetting him and who negotiated the vast sums thrown at some of those players signed in terms of salary and fee, it was not Monk.

Possibly Gibsons' worst ever decision sacking Karanka and then giving Monk £50m to spend.

What makes it even more infuriating is if we'd stuck with Karanka following relegation and not spent a penny we'd have had more chance of going back up than we ever had with Monk.

The thing is why does it always have to be ex-pro's??
You take on someone like Woodgate and he's probably expecting £10k - £30k per week or whatever.....just because that's what he's always got.
But he had ZERO management experience.
You may as well take on a non-league Manager who is probably over-the-moon on £3-£5k.
It's almost like we are a club who is desperate to spunk as much cash as possible with no eye on quality control.
We need to act like a 'start up' not an old fleshy 'corporate'
