I get 3 and then its in the bin. The mrs sometimes mixes up an old one which I have been saving for other purposes , with one Ive only used once which means I throw 2 away.

Its got to be a twin blade others dont cut it

I pay about a tenner for 100 double edge razor blades and bin each one after using once because they're 10p each, although some people use those 2 or 3 times

Multiple blade cartridge razors are all as gimmicks that exist because patents expired. Which is why every so often some new gimmick like extra blades, lubricating strips, static charge etc gets added so it can have a new patent applied

where do get 100 for a tenner

I use Gillette mark3 turbo blades, each blade lasts me 3-4 weeks, pack of eight costs around £14, so happy with that

I use a Wilkinson Sword protector and have done for years. Back in 2022, I had a really busy year with work to the point where I forgot to do a lot of normal stuff, some of which was changing razor blades. I used the same blade daily for about 10 months. My skin looked like corned beef by the time I remembered to change it.

I use gillette mk 3 as well and replace the blades, but not as often as before (another wfh benefit not having to shave as much). Would never go back to plastic disposables again. Do they still do those bic(sp) disposables?

I use a DE blade, and so bin it after one use as others have said.

Really couldn't go back to using a Gillette Mach 3 or something now as it just baffles me how expensive the blades are in comparison.

I got a expensive wet/dry electric razor a couple of christmases ago, and have probably used it twice as it just rips the whiskers out of your chin and leaves patches all over the place.

I used Gillette Mach 3 for long enough and was finding the blades didn't last as long(7 days, I shave every day) as they used to.
I got a Harrys blade for xmas ,its brilliant .Apart from needing a blood transfusion every time I use it and finds lumps/spots I didn't know i had at regular intervals.

Yeah, that sounds real good.

Took up wet shaving last September after years of stubble.

Wet with Harry’s on a recommendation… worse thing in the world, cut to bits every time I used it.

Switched to Mach fusion and never had an ounce of bother with them. Usually switch blades every month as I only shave every couple of days

I usually get a months worth of shaves from a King Of Shaves 5 Blade cartridge (six shaves a week) , just bought a Bulldog sample kit which is similar and seems (two weeks in) to be lasting well. It's a bit cheaper than the KoS and seems of similar quality. These multiblade things mean I can shave in the shower without using a mirror, which suits me.

Top of the range Phillips electric wet and dry razors are almost as good as a wet shave for me, I paid just over £400 for mine and it's excellent.
