1 confirmed, who will feature in the game and another will be leaked to have done his medical, perhaps even spotted here, in the stands or whatever, who will sign the week after

Neither of whom will be names mentioned on here yet!

1 maybe. Although probably not in time to start or get fully linked up with squad. Especially if coming from abroad.

I'd expect Forss in for Watmore after a weeks training. Hopefully Fry back for Bola (despite not been left footed).

Paddy left centre back for me - Fry isn’t happy on that side

Given Wilders weekend comments on signings I have gone for 2. If we’re as close as he claimed on a few then announcements should be made by tomorrow at latest. If it is none, I can see Chris becoming a tad cross post match were we to lose.

This is the issue I was sort of alluding to in the thread I started yesterday. If a couple could’ve been done in time for Saturday but weren’t - for whatever reason - then they should’ve been done first thing on Monday morning. We need them in training, working with the players and the staff. Another few days of faff and it’s another game or two missed.

“There’s no rush, we’ve got four weeks,” etc. No. The games are being played now. You can’t just let parts of the season pass you by. You want the patterns and rhythms established, the points in the bag.

None.

We're all working really hard on it though, we've been working round the clock on it since we arrived at the football club. Steve and Neil know the situation, we're all on the same page. We'll bring good players to this football club as it's an attractive club to play for and the shirt is light.

Something like that.

02/08 - JEDI BORO POLL DAY
-
06/08 - QPR SAT
A STRIKER ON LOAN
10/08 - BARNSLEY

14/08 - SHEFFIELD SUN
A MIDFIELDER ON LOAN
17/08 - STOKE

20/08 - READING SUN
DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER OUT OF THE BLUE
27/08 - SWANSEA SAT

30/08 - WATFORD
A DEFENDER & A STRIKER ON PERMENANT DEALS
01/09 - DEADLINE DAY - INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE SHOCK

is it twitchy bum time?

I do think we'll be bringing in 7 rather than 5.. but Chris Wilder Knows better than me!!

We were close? Pipped at the post? Got lost, skipped town, broken fax, dog ate his contract..

4 DF Jack Hannah
5 DF Bryant Bilongo
6 DF Jack Robinson
7 MF Joseph Gibson
9 FW Callum Kavanagh
10 MF Isaac Fletcher
12 MF Fenton John
30 MF Hayden Hackney
31 FW Sonny Finch

and only then will we be able to buy Vikor 'THE PHONOMENON' Gyokores for £20m!

Regardless of whether we have signings or not in before Saturday, I don't think there'll be any new faces in the team, only maybe Forss. Wilder said after the game on Saturday it wasn't fair to throw him in because of conditioning and not really knowing the system.

At least we have McNair back, and also Fry could be pushing for a start.

I can see this happening. He was obviously told signings were getting closer, otherwise he wouldn't have said what he did. If we don't have anyone in by Saturday, he will be well and truly miffed (as will most of the fans). Seems a bit of deja vu. Warnock used to say the same things and nothing ever happened.

That is a concern that we seem to going down a well trodden route where the accountant and owner are over dominating the transfer dealings.

I can see a question coming on for Neil Warnock's evening ref the organisation and power base in transfers at MFC.
