How many crisps have you eaten in your lifetime?

So, I am 52.5 years old and my crisp eating career began when I was about 5, so 47.5 years. I am making the following assumptions -

25 crisps or potatoes based snack units per bag
2 bags per week
An additional 10 random bags per year (special occasions such as funerals)

So 47.5 * 114 * 25 = 135,375 crisps which is far fewer than I would have thought.

Are they that bad for your teeth?

Apparently because they're starchy and stick to your teeth it leads to increased bacteria and acid production.

I suffer with acid reflux and this has already done a lot of damage because a lot of the enamel has eroded.

I absolutely would. I can’t drink beer without crisps, and don’t eat crisps without beer. Put them together though and it’s my favourite thing in the world.
