There are many folk out there who now pedal the line that our children will thank us for it in 10 years time. They cant grasp that their vote was completely at odds with the view of younger voters.

They also can't quite get round to admitting that they are gullible fools and have been totally conned.

I feel quite bad for them, so much so I let them get away with not talking about it.

They now have an elephant. Quietly it follows them from room to room, ad infinitum, for the rest of their days.
