Anybody have a trial or a promising career wrecked by the customary cruciate ligament injury?
5 a side maestro about the limit of my abilities although I played with Cooper671 and, if it pleases anyone, he's garbage.
Not surprising given that he was eating out every day for a month in August.
Yeah ! - but whats he like at football?
What level did you get to?I was a limited and extremely lazy **** who I would have hated had I been a teammate.
In my defence - Permanent Atrial Fibulation that goes into fast AF, a stroke and Coronary later, I now realise part of my apparent laziness was heart conditions.
The rest of my laziness was however more to do with Belly conditions!
Not a bad left foot, just a bad attitude.
Fairly honest and accurate assessment that.
No notable level at all, for the obvious reason that nobody would pick a fat lazy knacker. What level did you get to?
Very good level hewiePlayed a couple of times for Synners in the early 90's and then for Northallerton and Stokesley
I was fast and used to play left of a front three. I remember when I was at school I was playing for the school, the district, the county and my Sunday league club as I got older I became more of a back to the goal hold up forward.Very good level hewie
Loved squash, not very good mind but enjoyed it all the sameI was an effective sweeper type player when I played 5 a side. Mainly because I played loads of squash so was agile.
Gosh it was ages ago now but if he played in 90-91 I probably did. I used to play for the reserves and was drafted in a couple of times due to injuries etc. I wasn't very confident in my ability so I can't say I excelled when given the chance.Hewie, was that when Barney Malone was playing?
Good friend of mine, at school & since, excellent footballer, as we're his brothers, particularly his youngest
