How did you greet the news today

I was out riding my horse, got a message off a mate saying Woodgate gone and Warnock in, I replied “and then you woke up” only to get a screenshot of the statement, I then rode back with a big grin on my face

I welcomed it on realising that we now had something to look forward to for the remainder of the season and possibly even next season too.

Colin is going to get his 1500 games as a manager under his belt & thats us down.

i wonder when he last saw us play.

no point in getting emotional over the manager, Boro never have the balls to see it through.

were my thoughts

If he takes us down, he probably won't stay about, and he won't have reached 1500 games either.
Last time he saw us play, at a minimum, was probably earlier this season when he beat us 1-0 as Cardiff manager.

 i dont need the Samaritans.

if boro fans want to go whooping! (y) - cos Colin is the new manager, good luck to you and them, get on it and enjoy it, god alone knows we deserve some bright moments.

Colins the new manager of my football club- i back him 100% whilst he's in the chair - through defeats as well as draws or wins - lets see where the whoopiteers are should it not meet their satisfaction or we hit a bad run.

by the way, now his here, i want Colin to stay next season regardless of what division we are in, and of course the chumpionship is where we want/need to be net season.

up the Boro.
Thanks ( I think ) 🤨

No great joy. I wanted Woody to succeed and right up until that "performance" on Saturday thought he might.

Not a fan of Warnock by any stretch but if he keeps us up you can call me "Colin".

Was driving and could tell I was getting a lot of texts (I’m so popular ). First one I opened was from a mate from Stoke, ST holder. He didn’t fancy Saturday anyway (reckons we‘re always lucky against them) doesn’t fancy it at all now.

Assumed Tallentire's Twitter account had been hacked, then assumed everyone's Twitter account had been hacked, then realised it's just the same old story of half-arsed decisions that have been made for the last 11 years.

Off MFC's twitter....then proceeded to be bombarded with messages in the lads whatsapp group.

I don't think I've heard/seen one single fan berate or challenge this decision by Gibbo.

When we parted with Aitor/Monk/Pulis...there were some fans who questioned the decisions made by Gibbo, however this change looks to have 100% backing from the supporters.

Nonplussed really. Knew from the moment Woodgate was appointed he’d drag the club down. It was an horrendous decision. Thought he’d been given far too long to show his incompetence but he’s gone now.

Hopefully Warnock can keep us up and he is probably the best appointment in the circumstances.

Not sure what it means for the direction of the club. The Chairman has to get a plan in place for the club moving forward, at the moment we are stumbling all over the place.

Stay up, regroup, stabilise and then start to move forward with a clear identity and battle plan.

There needs to be a massive clear out.

My Stoke mate messaged me immediately with the same thoughts - a boost for us without a doubt.
