Sheff United don’t like it up em. They imploded the other night and lost it again today. Their fixtures don’t look to get any easie in the next month or so. Even the trip to reading is difficult as they have decent home form I think.

When I heard his interview on bbc tees last night : with him explaining how he had a laugh with the players at half time because he’d experienced something similar as a player where after a Wednesday game high then a Saturday where nothing seems to click or go well (totally makes sense as I’ve experienced the same when playing)
Michael Carrick just went up in my admiration of him hearing that because it was probably just the approach that the players needed and yet it’s human and simple….yet genius….
He keeps coming up with major pearls of playing wisdom that the players are soaking up and deepening the trust they have for Michael Carrick
