Hope to get more people across

The intention is to do this gradually over weeks or momths. We are still developing. We still do not have adverts sorted and all the content pages are on the old site and old server.
I was not wanting to invite floods of people all at once. I cannot sit here all day approving etc. And it is only me that can do this fully for security etc.
Blackpool got 300 across to their unfinished new forum and estimate it will take several weeks. I was thinking weeks or months.
We don't want people on the other site fmttm.com thinking they are second best. We just wanted enough people to get a community established and test everything etc here.

So the important thing is to communicate this and more on both sites. Just let everyone know what is happening.
 
Spanishman, I don't mean to call you out, but perhaps it is you that should post something on the old board considering that you've been encouraging people to try and register despite Rob advising that there was still stuff to be done?

I'd love this to be the only fmttm board, but it's down to Rob and the team working on it as to when that is.

I appreciate and understand your comment. I have already posted something on the old board that Admin changed. I accept that. It is their board not mine.

We are all users of this service "for free". Although we have to tolerate the adverts without the option of an ad free alternative.

My frustration is that it feels like the users are not being cared for. Which is bad for Rob and his business.

The way this replacement has been handled over the years is pathetic. Although I feel this is not Rob's fault. It is down to the suppliers of the technology.
