Not dipped my toe into this arena yet but looking like I will soon. My preference would be battery powered version as I can tell I would move it around frequently, however these seem to start from 55 quid for no names and branded 80 ish. So was looking at wired ones due to budget but couple of questions that I can't find info on , on the writeups
If you unplug a wired cam even for just a few mins, do you have to go through the setup again after re-powering. I'm hoping for some type of button cell memory to allow a short span of no power at least to remember wifi network and password
Do most of these wired ones take a USB power feed cable. or are they their own wall adapter. I have a powerbank that can be put into continuous supply mode manually instead of it sensing what's being drawn and make its own shutdown decision. Was thinking could use this option for a few hours where I wanted to move it not easily near a wall socket.
