Hi all. About to my first electric car in October and looks like the guy I had booked to do the installation is backing out. can anyone recommend any approved EV installers who they have used or know ? Need to be able to get the government grant. Also if anyone has any experience of chargers...

Did it online via pod point, uploaded a few pics of where I wanted it mounting and the fuse box/cable run and they sorted it all from there, including the government grant. Really neat job too. They have really good feedback on trust pilot.
Just a shame my car’s been delayed again until March

No answers here but just wondering if each car make has it's own charger? Or are they Universal?

I think that in general car brands don’t have their own chargers . I’ve just gone for a hypervolt after much research and the installer was EV solutions from Sunderland . They were brilliant ! And very good at guiding you through options . Have a look on their website as they show you some of the options
