Our Disney holidays been cancelled for the 3rd time so giving up…

looking at Canary islands (stand fast la Palma) has anyone got any good all inclusive hotel recommendations I can look at and anyone know what it’s gonna be like vibe wise for begining of november?

We stayed at Gran Castillo in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. Lots for young kids and good food, as well a being a mile or so stroll, along the prom, from the town centre.
Walked past there today 👍. Personally prefer the marina end, the Volcán is good - note it’s just started spitting with rain 😳. To be honest anywhere in PB is brilliant.

We went to playa blanch exactly 2 years ok and weather was great (always a stiff breeze, but warm). We stayed in a villa with pool though as it was very reasonably priced and all inclusive isn't our thing. We'll definitely go back, loads of nice bars and restaurants in the rubicon marina. We don't have kids so didnt have to consider that but we enjoyed the volcano trips (we hired a cheap car for the week as that was cheaper than transfers) and some day drinking, lounging by the pool, meals out and buying some nice stuff to eat in the villa

Dominican Republic if you're going beginning of November - a longer flight but the hotels and beaches are worth the effort.

This is largely the reason we've decided to postpone any travel abroad until spring at the earliest. There's so much can change as we approach winter

And they are right to be concerned arent they? Observing the UK from afar I view it as complete madness how the Government are currently sitting on their hands with a “wait and see“ policy. A dereliction of duty to the country‘s health and wellbeing.
Tories going about their business as nothing has happened. None of them wearing masks either in Parliament or when they're on public duty.

There's just so much conflicting information and opinion. On one hand we're about to see the NHS crumble, on another there us modelling which may suggest there will be a significant natural drop without plan B, and on a 3rd hand there is some evidence to suggest reported cases are only half actual cases. How do we make any sort of informed decision amongst all that. And I mean we, you and I, not we the govt
