I was thrilled to learn that Mrs Harrington had put the bins out this morning - lucky cos I'd forgot

I have had two highlights, the first being that the little starling that looked to be in trouble in the birdbath didn't need my intervention to get out and that my measuring and remeasuring before cutting the new worktop for the motorhome kitchen was a success. The sink fits in like a treat.
Lowlight was having to ask the pharmacist what day it was

Being 1500 feet up on the tops, with just the missus and dog for company, when the clouds parted and for 30 minutes we had blue skies and warm sunshine. Totally peaceful with just the sound of twittering larks.

making big inroads into my first ever jigsaw - harder than I ever imagined, but time does fly. best done with lovely beer.

Highlight was a day in the office to see and speak to people I actually know and like rather than just faces i recognise from serving me in a shop

Low point was a day in the office dealing with other people who need their bottoms wiping for them and are unable to take any responsibility and make their own decisions despite being in supervisory roles. Not every decision I make will be correct, but I learn from that. Not being willing or prepared to even make a decision gets right on my t*t end

A message from an old mate in Scotland asking if he'd find it easy to get a ticket to see the Boro play when he's down to visit his cousin in Whitby. Might be a while before we play again but I told him he'd have no problem at all.

Finishing off a bar in the garden, took me over a year, but with time in my hands, finished in 3 days.
Waiting for the all clear to invite friends round.
