Liz Truss is the answer you get when questioned about why the three layers of governance we have in the UK needs changing desperately.

Surely a system that has 3 levels to ensure good rulemaking shouldnt have 2 of the 3 levels unelected!

It feels very much like everything is being set up for Rishi Sunak to take over..

According to Rishi Sunak it is, yes.

Aside from the apparent lack of talent in the cabinet that she is even being mentioned as a future leader, it would mean that the Tories would have had three female PMs while the Labour party hasn't even had a single female leader.

That is pretty shocking for a party that prides itself on equality.
I guess that it's time for me to mention Zarah Sultana again. Get rid of that Starmer **** and put her in charge and then I'll be able to vote Labour again.

anyways if the answer is Liz Truss, then what on earth would the question have been?

Name a politician thicker than a castle wall maybe?

I'd rather not have those three just for equality, when two of them are considered pretty inept

I wouldn't say inept as neither were really bumbling, clueless, or ineffective; they knew the impact their policies were having on communities and pressed on regardless as it was lapped up by the tabloids and their base and we don't really know what Truss would be like as PM yet.

Which means she is very possibly our next PM.

It is a ridiculous situation the people of this country have put themselves in.

Time to change the system, so we are not in thrall to a handful of foreign overseas tax dodging billionaires and a few thousand senile racist out of touch old duffers.
Liz truss is great news for Labour 😃😃😃😃

I posted this last December 2021

It’s even scarier now
What puzzles me is that Truss is said to be well ahead in polls of the Tory members but every time they ask an audience at one of these god-awful TV debates the show of hands is heavily in Sunak's favour. Are these not members?

I think there are a big number of undecided and that is why Sunak is continuing. I think it's the vocal minority that are pushing this Truss is winning narrative.

It’s said that’s over 80% of Tory party members see liz truss as the top candidate to be the next leader/PM.

LIZ TRUSS!!!!!
But something like 93% of the population think it should be Sunak, so what does that say about the Tory party and their MPs.

I know it's F***ing horrible isn't it. There's a war on in Europe with Russia and Jesus Christ look who we've got coming in as prime minister. God help us. I would much rather have Boris Johnson in charge as the lesser of two evils. People who think you can't do much in two years are probably oblivious to the damage that that pig ****** and his smarmy mate did, and probably haven't seen threads.

Not so sure of that. The press was bulling her up last week but when I watched the voting on the Sky News program they both appeared on it was over 80% for Sunak.

My Tory mate went to the hustings at Darlo and thought Sunak was a bit out of touch with people but he thought Truss was poor when questioned and kept going back on what she was saying.

If you believe that Molteni I’d pile in on Sunak at 9-1 with the bookies. Truss is 1-11 and there is a reason.

Just read some of the members posts on SM - they are very anti Sunak.

They are both shockingly poor. It would be a mistake of judging overall sentiment on a husting held in the North East. The majority of members voting are from the South and they are very loyal it seems to Johnson (who they see has been stabbed in the back by Sunak) hence Truss voters.

I don't believe it that much!! :D

I do think it'll be closer than the bookies have it though.
