Trug stick up a screenshot of the error message mate and I'll have a look. It could be as Dood says the browser you are using isn't associated with html files, but that seems unlikely and many resource links don't have an extension. It is more likely that Windows 10 may have lost the default browser setting, i.e. it doesn't know what to use to open the link. For some reason, on my laptop whenever I click on a link in my emails I get a message saying "Unable to open...............(whatever the address is)" . I am using Windows 10 and Microsoft Mail. I don't have the same problem on my phone. Any ideas of what I can do please?

Go to Seetings > Apps > Default Apps and change whatever you have as your default browser to another browser.
Try links from email, if successful go back to settings and change back to your preferred default browser.
Good windows 10 tip - I didn't know this and I am a tech architect. Shame on me.A tip, press start button and start typing ’Default Apps’ and that will bring up the ui for anything that needs a default program associating.

I design computer solutions Nobby. Your broadband, if you recieve it from Virgin is managed by a system that I designed (amongst other stuff, obviously). It means I have no friends and no social skills.Laughing, what is a Tech Architect ?
