Help contacting DPD parcels

Anyone have any idea/experience on how to actually get through to speak to someone at the shower of shoite that is DPD?

WhatsApp/online help seems to be robots who can't help me and when I get transferred on the phone to my 'local depot' it rings a handful of times then cuts off?

If its a problem with the delivery you could contact the seller to see if they can help. It was impossible for me to get through to Yodel, so I imagine its the same for most delivery companies

DPD are a nightmare. Have you downloaded the app?

If you're not the sender they probably won't speak to you, the sender has to.

You can go down to the depot

Live chat is a joke, no Twitter, great courier when everything goes smoothly, nightmare when they don't.

Our house faces other way to rest of the street, but is accessed from the street with a massive house number at the end of the drive

inexplicably any DPD delivery comes to the locked front gate which is on a completely different street to the postal address

No matter, DPD app lets you put photo on, what3words and a description of access so made it clear in all 3 where to go and where not to go, yet about 1 in 3 DPD deliveries we see someone rattling the locked front gate and they get leave the parcel there which is by a footpath. It's infuriating - because they don't need a signature anymore they mark it as "left with recipient" too so for tracking its considered delivered

Drives us nuts. Tried contacting them loads but no way to do so

What one red or blue.

If you are local
Blues depot is on Preston Farm Ind.Est
Red have closed the local depot and moved to Gateshead

Good luck. I found it impossible to actually speak to a human being when I tried to contact them recently. Tried Online and downloaded the App. No use at all.

I usually find dpd to be one of the better ones. I have maybe been lucky.

I won't even order from anything that uses Yodal (or Nodal as its known). The are shocking. The last time I used them I was told it was delivered whilst sat at home. I thought thats 'odd'. Opened my door and no parcel.

The driver sent me a photo. Definitely not my door . I had to walk down my road and find it. Then inform the houses neighbour that I wasn't stealing the package as it was mine and at the wrong address. To be fair they couldn't care less😂

They're generally a good courier (DPD), 1 hour time slot, real time tracking, you're next notification. Etc it's just when things go wrong.

I had a £600 fragrance parcel turn up empty and needed a statement off them, consumed about a week of my life.
