Heinz resticting supplies to Tesco

I read Heinz and Tesco and in a dispute over prices. Heinz are increasing prices and Tesco will not pay higher prices. Heinz has now stopping supply. Is this a strike by Heinz?

When workers withdraw their labour its called a strike, and the focus tends to be on the striking workers and their unions.

When people can't get Heinz baked beans no one says they are been held to ransom by Heinz.

More importantly, anyone tried the chilli or curry baked beans by Heinz?

I have a small addition to both.

When I was a lad I worked for one of the big Supermarkets chains in HO.

We missed the payment, funnily enough by accident (hmmm) to a major overseas dairy. The days when inflation was 10 to 15%, and cash in bank made a lot of money.

Two days later there was no butter on the shelves. No warning, nothing, they simply stopped supply. All hell broke loose, they never backed down an inch.
