"Heaven" - Gigs youve lined up after lockdown?

The Charlatans 30th anniversary 'best of' tour kicks off this year. I am hoping go get a ticket for Brixton academy in December (going on sale tomorrow).

Shed Seven also touring. Although I've seen them about 15 times over the years😂 (only beaten by prodigy... RIP Kieth)

I'm hoping to get my 90s Britpop vibe on.

I see the pre sale Shedcember tickets are all sold out. Did you manage to get some?

So so disappointed with this. Looked forward to it opening for years. The acts however are so middle of the road they should have white lines up their backs. Only The Waterboys of those announced so far that I would even consider seeing and I haven't tried to get tickets for them. I suppose it was always going to be like that once ATG Tickets were involved in the bookings. Typical fayre that they put on at Sunderland. Although I did see Costello there last year so just maybe:cool:🎸
Waterboys is seated only, not my idea of how best to see that band

Saw The Furs a couple of years ago at Newcastle thought they were good but a little too slick and dramatic for me liked them better when they were raw

Exactly - I saw them at Middlesbrough Rock Garden in 1980 and it is still in my Top 10 of gigs. They were great live until they went to America and became just another MOR band.

I saw them 2 or 3 times in 2012 and they were ok but I saw them in Leeds and Manchester in 2017 and they were awful. Bland beyond belief, they even made India sound plodding and Richard Butler was an embarrassment.

My mate is Shutty (Ian). Really nice guy, and absolutely nothing like you might expect in everyday life.
He’s a good guy. Met him a few times. If memory serves he works (worked) in a carpet firm or similar. Very underrated band, and he was a decent drummer. Tell him I’m a big fan!

I'd have to take you up on The Furs being rubbish these days. They released a new album last year, their first in 29 years, which was voted the best album of 2020 by Vive le Rock magazine.

Being endorsed by Vive Le Rock is no guarantee of quality, some of the stuff they endorse is dog s**t!

I bought Made Of Rain and gave it away, I thought it was that poor, but just my opinion, other people like them that's fine but to me they're plain old dull these days.
