Hayden Who?

1 year loan deal agreed with him signing tomorrow report from Ipswich says .
They wanted a permanent 3 year deal but Boro said no .
Good luck Hayden , come back ready for the premier league 👍
Disappointing, feels he worth giving a property opportunity for Boro.

If he isn't going to get regular minutes here (which looks likely given his appearances since Warnock turned up) then this makes sense and will do him the world of good. I'm just worried that it weakens our squad further though, 🤞 Bausor is working on some more incoming deals right now.

I suppose money is so tight we have to work deals both ways. I think he is a player of superb potential and great attitude. He just needs to be playing week in week out to improve.
Sad to see him go for now.
Agree he needs to go and play a full season and Ipswich would be perfect especially if he can help them go up. Best of luck to the lad

I like Coulson and thought he did well under woodgate but he needs games and needs to improve his final ball and output. If we bought the lad no one would bat an eye lid him leaving. Good move for him, make or break for him really.

It shows how important game time is in young players development. He has never really kicked on. Probably not his fault through lack of games.

'the terms of a loan deal had been agreed between the clubs but the move was put on hold due to a lack of left-sided options at Boro with first-choice left-back Marc Bolan out, fatally injured after hitting a tree.'

I would expect we have a left footed player strongly lined up, to let Coulson go.

Got luck to Hayden on loan. He's a decent player particularly going forward.

He needs game time if he is to develop. Hopefully this move will be the making of him and he will return and challenge for a shirt at Boro.

“Hayden has been injured since I arrived here, so he spent some time back in Middlesbrough getting some treatment on his injury, but he is now back here training hard and is working his way towards fitness.”
Kieran McKenna expects him to stay at Ipswich for the rest of the season

He sounds like he is still some any off making a playing return so maybe it makes sense to let him find his feet on loan, don't you think.
