Horrendous atm. 5 lots of medication and still suffering badly, feel absolutely knackered as well as haven’t slept properly for a couple of nights because of it.

Itchy eyes, itchy mouth, bunged up, no sense of taste or smell. Vaseline around the nostrils helps slightly, but anyone got any tips to help alleviate it?

Usually get hit the last couple of weeks in June, don’t know if the warm weather has brought the pollen forward.

I do normally get it from late April to mid June, definitely worst its been for a few years, particularly sneezing which hasn't really been an issue for me for a long time.

Mine is bad at the minute. It's always worse in warm and dry weather 😣
I always get it this time of year until the end of June though, prime grass pollen season at the minute.

You sure it's not COVID?
Pretty sure. Got the same symptoms as most years, usually the 2 inhalers, tablets, nasal spray and eye drops keep it under control but not doing the trick this year.

Had it this bad twice before, not for years though.

My partner has it terrible this year.. she gets these super strong tabs on prescription. Sure they'd knock out a horse.
Hope you feel better and you are definitely not feeling it alone.

I've never really had it but even I've had a the occasional day where my nose is a bit stuffy.

Which tablets are you taking? I've always found cetirizine hydrochloride the most effective 1 a day tablets.
I'm very lucky, having suffered horrendously for years, that the last 3 years have been pain free. I think that was down to having my sinuses gouged out, but can't be sure.

Good news is they reckon hay fever sufferers are more resilient against cancer....although again I have nothing concrete to back that up.

Feel for you all. It's a bitch

I nearly went to the expense of buying a Dyson pure cool, to purify the air of allergens. My eyes are constantly itchy, nose stuffy etc. I've had it worse than this before but not usually in May.

Same tablets.

Putting it down to conditions, would go to the Doctors but they’ve got more important things to worry about atm.

Try the Loratadine ones. Never worked for me, but if cetirazine don’t work, they’re worth a try. My kids get fexafonadine (if something like that) as they still really struggle, but that’s on script

Must have been the sea air, as when I lived in Redcar, I never suffered from it, moved to Middlesbrough and bang!! Hay fever every May ( Hawthorn) and August (Rapeseed), if you live near the coast, spend an hour or 2 down there, and clear your airways 👍🏻

I always get it bad around this time of the year. Last year I had it so bad that I lost my sense of taste and smell for a few months.

I've noticed I've been sneezing a lot more regularly over the last few days so unfortuantely looks as if it's starting up again.

I use Beconase nasal spray but apparently you're supposed to start using it two weeks before you usually get symptoms.
