I have several :

1/ alcohol free indefinitely hence liver flush which in turn will lead to

2/ saving money

3/ lose weight

4/ do all household tasks I’ve been putting off

5/ getting drawing pad out and getting back to what I used to do decades ago

6/ realising when it passes ( which it will ) what’s really important in life , family , health etc .

Do it guys and write em down . it really gives you a boost

No need for the alarm clock.
Don't have to move out of the house to work.
More exercise and better diet.
Will have a few quid extra for the big blowout.

6/ realising when it passes ( which it will ) what’s really important in life...... pubs, restaurants, football, sport and being allowed out :) :)

That said.... I'm going to see if I can FINALLY get round to learning a bit of Spanish online. (Although Spanish is a bit hard (as in, not as easy as French)).

1) Time that I wouldn’t normally get with my family.

2) Complete the half finished things I have started

3) More time to experiment in the kitchen

4) Catch up on TV and reading that I’ve missed

5) Get the garden sorted

6) No sporting disappointments

7) Naps

On this day in 2015 day my first born son had received a life saving operation at Great Ormond Street Hospital having been born just a few hours earlier. He spent the next four months in intensive care and things didn't look good. I witnessed him have a cardiac arrest and thought that he was gone on more than one occasion.

Yesterday he celebrated his 5th birthday with his friends and little brother and I've never seen a happier kid. Smart, funny and loving. A beautiful person inside and out. I can't tell you how fortunate I feel to have learned such an important life lesson in my early 30's. FAMILY IS EVERYTHING.

This whole situation is nothing compared to that frame of reference that we have but it will be understandably very scary for the vast majority of people. I hope that you will take this chance to be close to those that you love and to take care of them and each other (y)

Brillant post EBD.
You are indeed a lucky lad, but your son is lucky to have you as his Dad.
