Have we a better squad than we give credit to?

I think Mr. Houghton's comments were more directed at the shortcoming of the Forest squad than admiration for ours. We are paperthin, look at how much we are perked up by a good performance by Britt and the return of Howson.

It may be a nudge to his chairman. However, we should not forget that Forest did a lot of business over the Summer, and may not have much left. I know CH wasn't in charge for these deals, but with this many incomings, can they really be that short: link

It shouldn't be, I mean he has access to 26 senior professionals including, Dawson, Blackett, Colbeck, Ameobi, Freeman, Yates, Arter, Grabban, Lolley and Taylor. These are very experienced and good quality players.

I'd take Grabban and Lolley off his hands.

Makes you wonder what Warnock could do with their squad

It’s upfront we are lacking as we don’t have a “hang your hat on striker” as most in top half of this league do.

as for brit we don’t even know if he will even start some weeks let alone score.

add a competent striker at this level and we’d easily be top 6 and I’d say prob top 2 as well.

Also as much as I’m happy to see fletcher return let’s not rewrite history here as he is just as sketchy as our other strikers but hopefully under Warnock he can find that cutting edge and confidence in front of goal that has always been lacking.
