Hate to say it but Wilder has to go

Yep, has to go or there's a serious chance of us being relegated this season in my opinion.

Something just hasn't been right since the Burnley saga and it didn't help that at the time he came out and publically slated several players, following a home defeat. I said at the time that it was a dangerous game.

Recruitment has been poor again and the fact that Wilder and the club don't share the same philosophy with regards to recruitment hasn't helped, but we shouldn't be this bad.

Does anyone still think he should stay?
I do.

We ****ed him over with how we handled the centre midfield this transfer window, and up front too, we deserve to give him at least one window (plus 6 months) where we buy some players he actually wants, we've not done that yet.

The team won't go down, but this centre midfield and the second striker option aren't good enough for the playoffs, so we have nothing to gain by switching managers.

I'd rather we switched our recruitment policy, so that we only spend money on players the manager wants, and we insure against losses by only buying players under 25.

He tried something today which was a bit out of the ordinary, it didn't work. We had some chances and missed them, set piece delivery was terrible and didn't get on the ned of balls in the box.

How can Maddo say we've got enough to get out of the relegation scrap, we're in the bottom 3 because as things stand, we're the 3rd worst team in the championship

The ultimate problem is Steve Gibson and the idiots he continues to employ behind the scenes.

But that isn’t changing anytime soon, so all we can do is sack Wilder.
What about the idiots he employs front of house. Wilder, Monk, Strachan, Pulis,

The last few games have been poor, but we've still not been battered, we've not even lost by more than a goal yet, which is odd, for our position.

We deserved another 5 points or so from the earlier games, so at least then we were playing like a better side.

Well that's immediately broken. He doesn't want players under 25.

He does if he thinks they're good enough: Jones, Giles, Muniz etc. Let him have a say in who we get?

He probably doesn't want less proven players, who the club decides may be good for the future.

Or alternatively, appoint a "coach" not a "manager" and one who is happy to work with the Director of Football / Recruitment set up that we appear to have

It's not the players that are the problem. The problem is that Wilder wants them to play in a style they can't play. And he isn't capable of changing the style. Yes he picked a more defensive line up, but he had them playing the same way.

We need a manager who can play in a style that suits the players.

I think Wilder can coach, and was happy with what the club and director of football were talking about/ promising, but they never kept up their end of the deal.

Guardiola wouldn't be able to get a tune out of our centre mid choices, or stop the defenders making ludicrous errors.

I may be wrong, but isn't Wilder on record as saying it's Alan Knill that does most of the actual day to day coaching, and he just oversees it

I have always been a fan of Wilder and felt as though we should be patient with him but I think today is the day my mind has changed.

It feels like we had a huge jump in performances when he first came in. We were playing with a purpose and it was impressive to watch. We played a high press and we got numbers forward but since that initial period we have been in a steady and continuous decline.

It has now got to the point where it feels like there is deliberate sabotage and points are being made at the cost of the resukts. Im sure that isnt the case but there decisions made that leave you scratching your head.

Not working and players aren’t with him. I don’t think we’ll get a better manager, but am afraid it has run it’s course. Otherwise relegation battle looms!

Half the defenders are long ball players, half can play out
The defenders and midfield make silly individual defensive errors, this doesn't suit any football style
The midfielders don't suit any style
We can't play long ball, as the defenders can't play good long balls, and we don't have a strike partnership that would suit that.

We have a mixture of square and round pegs, but the game only has square or round holes, we need to pick one or the other and ditch the ones that don't suit it. We also have some poor square and round pegs, those need to go too.

The team is halfway to being transitioned to being a footballing side, but the biggest problem to solve for footballing sides is centre mid, where we sold our best player and didn't even replace him, never mind strengthening this area.
