Has Steve Gibson retired his 'hopesoboro' character?

Always got on with Hopeso, he seemed be able upset anyone who slagged the Boro off with a short sentence. Pushed his luck to far with admin in the end. Wouldnt have the Boro knocked doesnt matter who it was, sure I saw his ghost posting 2 days ago.
 
Ticker it didn't have to be people who knocked the Boro, a lot of the time he was cycastic just for the sake of it, don't know how many times I was referred to as St erimus, didn't contribute much other than upsetting folk
 
The guy was an idiot of the highest order and offered virtually nothing at all. No counter argument, no substance, no depth, no point. Wind people up? The guy seemed intent in demonstrating a rather immature and pathetic figure. And he succeeded.
 
And that was his problem, people have the right to say as they please about the club they support, doesn't mean they don't love the Boro, fans will have their say, some will keep quiet, its the way we are, we're all Boro fans at the end of the day

Having worked in a lot of construction and heavy engineering he had the sort of patter you get there imho. Its common to me, but he did target and wind some up, without much effort. He did it to me at times, I just chuckled I knew how he was.

I think he was the one who got wound up, it seemed soon as a poster would say something remotely negative about the Boro, in their opinion, the same posters would bite, including him

I never replied to him in reference to his petty sir erimus name, I thought it amusing, but yes certain posters did get him wound up, probably soon as he seen me comment he would reply Saint erimus, so just seeing my name got him wound up
 
Tbh Erimus, hed sometimes leave an innocuous looking comment which days later had several posters up in arms. I think hes had his fun and his name is gone.

Does that include players? Twitter, Instagram etc. Commenting is one thing, it does not stop them reading them. How would anyone ever know anyway? Neil Warnock is staff and admitted he likes to read comments. We have had exact correct teams leaked before the official time for ages when AK was in charge. Signing a disclaimer is one thing finding out if anyone breaches it on anonymous boards is another.

Team leaks can just be people passing on what staff have told them though. Or Rockliffe staff overhearing things etc? (Not MFC staff).
