Has it rained where you are ?

For the last two nights, I’ve got up for work at 04.30 and despite having slept with windows open, the thermostat on the wall and the temp on my fan have both said 29 degrees! **** that! (It’s obviously nowhere near that temp outside but cheap 10 yr old ***** houses like mine, don’t seem to do well in the heat). Cambridgeshire has been godawful hot this few days, and no rain yet.

Looking at the forecast it's a cooler day in Darlo today with likelihood of rain this arvo. But after that dry again for the foreseeable but at least the temperatures are more "English" with maxes of about 20/21C and cooler nights 11/12C.
 
So the Weather app on my iPhone says we are currently having showers (I haven’t seen one) and rain all afternoon (fingers crossed)

Thankfully it’s a little cooler today
 
It rained for about ten minutes here in South London just after 8 last night. Very refreshing, but it's still forecast to be 27 today.
 
Raining here for the last 15 minutes - I thought I heard the rumble of thunder but alas it’s bin day and the fella was just pulling the wheelie bin off the drive :)

I love the heat and love the rain. I was at AMC last night and drove home in heavy foggy raining stuff, not rain and not fog, strange stuff. Sat here now, patio door open, dark skies, no rain in Marton and need my water butts filling up again
