Has anyone's internet been affected since virus outbreak?

The data on my phone is fine, but my Sky broadband hardly ever works now. This means no Netflix, and can only use the basics on my Sky tv. I waited over an hour on the phone to customer services with no reply and gave up, but can't see what they'll be able to do.
 
this is my biggest fear, if the internet goes down coupled with a delay in alcohol supplies i predict chaos
 
I did here that Sky and Netflix were reducing their picture qualities due to the demand they will be expecting.
 
Virgin here - can't say it's 100% but it hasn't affected me working or the family consuming content via TV or Internet.

Was a question on another forum - if Netflix reduces quality will they reduce their prices if I'm paying for HD? I've not seen that mentioned elsewhere and it's not in the released note from Netflix - I use their normal service and as far as I can tell it is no different on the big TVs.
